Located in Broadbeach, The Star Casino Events Centre is 20 minutes from the Gold Coast Airport at Coolangatta, and a 90-minute drive from Brisbane. Accessed by two international airports, the Gold Coast has direct flights and economical airfares for delegates travelling from around Australia and the rest of the world.
With seven of Australia’s best theme parks, 40 championship golf courses, more than 600 restaurants and cafes, over 70 kilometres of pristine coastline and some of Australia’s most splendid natural and cultural wonders, the Gold Coast offers many possibilities for creating a memorable experience at the 2024 API National Property Conference.

Plane
The Gold Coast Airport (OOL) is 20 minutes from The Star. Regular bus and shuttle services are available from Gold Coast Airport to Broadbeach. More info here.

You can also fly into the Brisbane Airport (BNE), which is 90km from The Star Casino (approximately 90 minutes’ drive).
Car/Taxi
Public Transport
The G:link light rail system connects Griffith University to Broadbeach, passing through Surfers Paradise and Southport. This does not service Gold Coast Airport or Brisbane Airport.

Take the G:link to Broadbeach North Station to reach GCCEC. This runs 7 days a week, every 10-15 minutes. More info here.
